About Me

Hi! I’m Sarah Swensen, LCSW. I am a trauma-informed, strengths based therapist offering virtual therapy and in-person counseling in Brentwood, TN.

At Inner Strength Counseling, I work with adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as self-esteem, unhealthy relationships, family issues, and grief & loss.

My goal as your therapist is to help you discover your inner strength, navigate life’s challenges with confidence, and foster healing in a safe, compassionate environment.

Where to start.

Schedule a free phone consultation to discuss your individual needs, concerns, and the challenges you may be experiencing. From there, we can build a plan to help you feel more secure in your choices, feel empowered, and live a more fulfilling life.

My goal isn’t to tell you what you should do — it’s to help you feel supported, empowered, and confident enough to make choices that are right for you.

For clinicians

Clinical supervision.

I provide individual clinical supervision to Master’s-level social workers working toward LCSW licensure. My goal is a supportive, collaborative space where supervisees can strengthen clinical skills, build confidence, and navigate the challenges of providing therapy — including case consultation, clinical skill development, ethical decision-making, and professional growth.
